Ultimately, it is the organisation and competence of the project team, which determines the success of a given project. Our team structure has proven its worth in numerous projects:

• Senior project manager: internal head of project
• Key account manager: key contact to the customer during the project
• Product development leader: lead design engineer and responsible for the development team
• Process development leader: lead process engineer and responsible for the process engineering team
• Core team representatives from other relevant functions such as regulatory, quality assurance, quality control and manufacturing
• External partners such as industrial design companies and market research/handling study specialists

At Ypsomed we’ve translated what the automotive and software industries have successfully implemented into our own modular system – our platform technologies. Our platform technologies can be used either directly or as a basis for further developments, in both cases leading to shorter timelines and ultimately cost efficiencies compared to a traditional bottom-up design approach.
